Our Philosophy on Home Care
What You Do Between Visits Matters
Adjustments do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to restoring your spinal alignment. But honestly, what you do at home for the other 23 hours of the day has a big impact too. As an upper cervical chiropractor in Lutz, FL, I spend a lot of time in appointments talking about sleep position, workspace setup, and the small daily habits that either support or undermine the care we are doing together.
The products below are things I personally recommend to patients based on their specific situations. They are not magic. But paired with consistent care, they can genuinely speed up your recovery and help you hold your adjustments longer.
If you are not sure which of these applies to your situation, just ask at your next visit. We are happy to point you in the right direction.
A note on product recommendations: None of these are affiliate links or paid endorsements. We recommend products because they work, not because someone is paying us to say so.

Categories We Recommend
Cervical Pillows
Most people sleep on the wrong pillow for their spine type. We can help you figure out which pillow height and firmness is right for your curve pattern. A good cervical pillow can dramatically improve how long your upper cervical adjustments hold.
Lumbar Support
If you sit at a desk for most of the day, a good lumbar roll or ergonomic chair insert can reduce the daily strain your lower back takes. We see a lot of patients from Odessa and Wesley Chapel who work from home with terrible setups.
Topical Pain Relief
Biofreeze and similar menthol-based creams can be useful for managing soreness between appointments. They do not fix the underlying problem, but they can take the edge off and help you sleep.
Posture Correctors
Used properly and not as a crutch, a posture brace or trainer can reinforce the postural changes we are working on in the office. We recommend specific types based on where your alignment issues are.
Nutritional Supplements
Magnesium, omega-3s, and vitamin D all have evidence behind them for reducing inflammation and supporting bone and muscle health. We can walk you through what might be worth adding based on your specific case.
Mobility Tools
Foam rollers, lacrosse balls, and cervical traction devices can all be valuable additions to your home routine. The key is using them correctly so you are not undoing what we are doing. Ask us before you start using anything new.
